πŸ“ Day 1. Arrival in Kilimanjaro

Your African adventure begins! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you will be met with a sign and taken to the cosy Keys Moshi 3β˜… hotel. In the evening, you will meet your guide, check your equipment and get ready for the upcoming climb. Dinner at the hotel (paid separately). Overnight at the hotel.

🌿 Day 2. Transfer to Mandara Hut (1800 m – 2743 m)

After breakfast, you will head to the Marangu Gate, where the route begins. The trek will take you through dense tropical forests, where you can hear the cries of colobus monkeys and smell the scent of damp greenery. After 3–4 hours, you will reach Mandara Hut, a cosy shelter among the clouds. Overnight stay at the hut.

🌾 Day 3. Mandara Hut – Horombo (2743 m – 3760 m)

Today, the trail takes you out of the jungle to alpine meadows where amazing lobelias grow – plants found only on Kilimanjaro. The Horombo camp offers breathtaking views of the Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. The trek will take about 4–6 hours. Overnight at Horombo Hut.

πŸŒ‹ Day 5. Horombo – Kibo (3,760 m – 4,730 m)

Crossing the high-altitude desert with its alien landscapes. Here the air is thin, and all around is frozen volcanic ash. Arrival at Kibo assault camp (4730 m). Early dinner, rest and preparation for the ascent. Overnight stay in a hut in Kibo.

πŸŒ… Day 6. Ascent to the summit of Kilimanjaro (4730 m – 5895 m)

The ascent begins before dawn. You will climb to Gillman’s Point (5,685 m), then to Stella Point (5,700 m), where the first rays of the sun will illuminate the summit of Africa. The last steps to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m) are a moment that will remain in your memory forever. β€˜Uhuru’ means β€˜Freedom’ in Swahili. After a short rest, descend to Horombo. Overnight in a hut.

🌳 Day 7. Descent and return to Moshi (3,760 m – 1,800 m)

A slow descent to the Marangu gate, where you will receive your well-deserved Kilimanjaro conqueror certificate. Transfer to Moshi, lunch and celebratory dinner (paid separately). Overnight stay at Keys Hotel Moshi.

🐘 Day 8. End of the climb. End of the climbing programme. We will take you to the airport at a time convenient for you.
