Drowning in the snow, but not sinking into the snow,with the help of snowshoes we will climb the mountains and enjoy the beauty of the Armenian landscapes. Along the way, the guide will entertain you with stories about important events and personalities for the country, introduce you to the peculiarities of landscapes, and also give you hot herbal tea from the slopes of Mount Aragats with Armenian dried fruits.

When we reach the starting point, we will put on snowshoes so you can walk without falling into deep snow. We will walk along the slopes of Mount Aragats, along the spurs of the Tsaghkunyats or Gegham ranges, the peaks of the Teghenis, Hatis or Tezh mountains-we will choose the route depending on the weather and snow conditions in the mountains.In any case, breathtaking panoramas of snow-covered Armenia await you.

Who is the tour for?

For both beginners and experienced travelers. Snowshoeing experience is not required, but it is important that the participants are in good physical shape and ready for a light challenge. The ascent lasts an average of 2 to 3 hours.

Organizational details!

Be sure to dress warmly: in winter, the air temperature can be very low. Choose clothes that protect against snow and wind. Wear waterproof boots, use shoe covers from snow, if you wish, you can take spare shoes and socks with you.Hat, gloves, glasses, buff. A list of required clothing will be sent additionally.
